4-0 Coated Vicryl Sutures are absorbable sutures intended for closing wounds and approximating or ligating soft tissues in ophthalmic procedures. These sterile sutures measure 18" per pack and are composed of a copolymer with 10% L-lactide and 90% glycolide.

Coated Vicryl Sutures are delivered using the special Multipass PS-2 needle with a cutting-edge prime reverse point type. These synthetic sutures are not compatible with either neurological or cardiovascular tissues and have an absorption rate of 56 to 70 days.
