This vintage Classic Chanel Medium Flap bag is crafted with diamond quilted lambskin leather with 24k gold-plated hardware and a single convertible leather-trimmed chain-link shoulder strap. There is a single exterior patch pocket on the back, a single zip pocket under the front flap and three interior compartments. Inside the bag is lined with maroon leather. New this bag retails at £8530 from Chanel, with prices continuing to increase every year, ensuring a strong resale value.

The serial number on the ity sticker tells us the bag was made between 1989 and 1991. This bag is in good vintage condition with some minor signs of use. The hallmark on the CC turn lock confirms the gold hardware is plated in 24K gold, a real collectors item. Before 2008, Chanel Classic Flaps with gold coloured hardware (chains, clasps, grommets, and CC turn locks) were all plated in real 24K gold.

There are some minor scratches, creasing, rough patches and loss of shape to the leather. The ity sticker has been partly removed but the numbers are still in place.

This bag comes with the serial number sticker still partly attached and the original Chanel dust bag.
