Does this use factory wiring, or do I need a new harness?

The integrated switch connects directly to factory fog light wiring and power points — no custom harness or relay needed if your truck originally came equipped with fogs. If your F-150 didn't have fogs from the factory, you'll need to run dedicated power and ground lines.

Do the smoke bezels reduce how much light comes out?

The tint is cosmetic and won't significantly dim output. The smoke finish is applied to the bezel ring, not the lens itself, so light transmission stays strong.

Can I install this myself with basic tools?

Yes — mounting uses factory attachment points, so you'll need a screwdriver and basic hand tools to remove the bumper trim, seat the new lights, and wire the switch into the dash. Plan 1–2 hours if you're taking your time.
