Will this clamp work with my custom exhaust tubing?

This clamp is designed for 2.0" diameter tubing. Measure your pipe OD first—if it's 2.0", you're good. For non-standard diameters, you'll need to step up or down to the correct size.

Do I need to apply sealant before tightening?

Depends on your joint. If you're sealing a flange connection, thread sealant tape or high-temp gasket maker before clamping. If it's just a pipe-to-pipe mechanical joint, the clamp alone handles it—tighten evenly and you're done.

Can I reuse this clamp if I need to remove it later?

Yes. Stainless won't seize or corrode to the joint, so loosen it, slide it off, and reinstall later without damage. Don't over-torque—snug is enough to hold the seal.
