Do I need new studs or gaskets when installing this header?
You'll want fresh header gaskets for a good seal. The turbo mounting studs are reusable if they're in decent shape, but pick up a new gasket set before you start—old ones compress and won't seal properly once disturbed.
Will this bolt directly to my existing turbo, or do I need adapters?
It bolts straight to the factory turbo mounting flange. No adapters or custom fabrication needed. Confirm your turbo model matches the original equipment on your car—if you've swapped turbos, verify the flange pattern first.
Does this need to be ceramic coated or painted before installation?
Stainless won't rust, so coating is optional. Some builders ceramic coat headers for heat retention and underbody protection. If you go that route, do it before installation. Install bare if you prefer to keep costs down—the material will patina naturally over time without damage.
