We also recommend Surfer Stretch Woven as a lightweight summer pants fabric.  The pattern features an elastic waistband with drawstrings, making them even more comfortable. The Design of the pants sewing pattern includes slanted front pockets, a faux front fly, and a back yoke, which adds sophistication to their overall look. Additionally, you can customize the back pockets with a standard jeans-style patch pocket or a squared pocket with a large flap.
