Polartec Thermal Pro was developed to bring a wider range of styles and performance functionality to synthetic fleece technologies. By re-engineering their construction methods, they created an expansive platform of fabric structures with superior benefits over traditional fleece. Some of these styles have been favoured by Patagonia.  The Extreme Warmth sweater-knit styles are very similar to their "Better Sweaters".  They feature a sweater-knit look on the face with a fleece back.  While styles 6256 and 6309 Shearling (also referred to as Sherpa) fleeces are similar to their "Retro Pile" Hoodies.
